iPhone will not function nor restore.

My iPhone is stuck in recovery mode and when i try to restore, error 1015 pops up and wont finish restoring. I've searched everywhere. Any ideas?

Error 1015 if I'm not mistaken is baseband/software mismatch. Have you tried using a different computer? Different USB ports? Rebooting your computer?

Same Problem

I had the same problem. I wished I had bought apple care on it. After hours and hours of trying to fix it and a call to Apple it is now and forever will be a brick. I will monitor to see if you actually get a helpful post it might help me too, this one is more of I feel your pain post.

This message does NOT mean the restore failed - it simply means the phone firmware does not match the baseband. Use iLiberty/Independence to kick the phone into normal mode and out of recovery mode and it will work.

I'm trying to use Ziphone as of now...lets hope it works

Dont bother with ziphone.
Try irecovery to see if it gets it out.

have tried that as well. But i cant seem to launch the application through terminal like it asks.

You'll want to open Terminal first and then drag and drop the iRecovery file into the open window.

Make sure its in the right folder where you're trying ti acess it thru terminal.

Update on my iPhone problems......i held down the power button for 10 sec then the power and hoime buttons for 10 and its now in white screen.

and to update you on iRecovery...when i drag it in terminal it says access denied...any thoughts?

If its stuck on the white screen sounds like a hardware issue.
