I have an iPhone X running 13.1.2 and I have a handful of songs on my Macbook (running OSX El Capitan) but these songs will simply not sync. I can see the music, I can play them, they are ticked in iTunes, I can see my iPhone in iTunes, my iPhone is unlocked, I have toggled the 'Sync only checked songs and videos' but the songs will still not appear in the Music.app on the phone. iTunes is 12.8.2.3 but there are no system updates on my Macbook.
What am I doing wrong? I know I have an older Macbook with older OS but I never remembered it being this hard to get some music synced across...
The phone appears to be syncing as it does the whole 'Copying items' and 'Diagnostic information' etc. yet no songs moved over.
Tried removing iTunes and re-installing with no success...
Does anybody have any suggestions?
