I just installed an iPod adapter in my car because my deck is iPod ready. But im using it with my iPhone. But now every time i hook it up to the deck it wants me to navigate through my Music with the deck, and its really annoying because i cant go to any cd. I have to skip by songs. I was wondering if there is a way to turn this off so i can use the iPod on my iPhone to navigate through my Music? I have a Pioneer deck with the Pioneer iPod adapter

any help would be great. Thanks

Unless apple changes the way the firmware works then no. I suppose Pioneer might release a newer ipbus adapter that lets the iphone stay accessible itself but with your current setup the ball is in apple's court. In my case I have a Pioneer AVIC-D3 and its ipod interface is great. I know older pioneer radios were a pain though.

Use an Alpine IVA-W200 and it also works great with the iPhone. Just wish the AVIC-D3 or the Apline would get a true "back" button. :(
