I did search - a few sites actually but haven't gotten any solid answer yet so I figured I'd post.

I don't live in an area with great AT&T coverage so I can't drop my Verizon contract yet.. I take the train every day so I can't connect via my Touch during my commute. Is it possible to get a data only plan?

From what I've been reading it looks like AT&T doesn't offer that, but possible either sprint or T-mobile does - I know I'd have to unlock and/or jailbreak which I'm OK with but before I do it I want to find out the process and make sure its something I'm capable of doing.

Can anyone clarify this for me (if its possible) and if so point me in the right direction for getting this done?

THANKS!!
