I had my iPhone's screen replaced at the Genius Bar on July 12, 2009 due to stuck pixels. I just noticed that my bottom row (4th row from top, not home row) of apps will not launch and that the area seems unresponsive. However, when I use the keyboard, every button works, it just seems to affect the main screen and scrolling in apps.

I wouldn't usually be worried about this, but my warranty expired in August. Does the replacement of the screen by the genius bar extend my warranty at all?

I have tried restarting, restoring, and restoring in DFU mode. I am currently running 3.1 on a 3G.

Please let me know if you have any advice.

I might be wrong but if you have something repaired you get a 90 day warranty on the portion that was repaired... At least thats what I think it is on the computers, I would assume that the iPhones would be the same.

Thanks for the response. I hope that I'm covered by a 90 day policy. I also don't have an Apple Store within 2 hours, so I'm going to have to do this over the phone and I can never seem to get through.

Any other advice or experiences?
