I updated to 1.1.1 on Thursday evening. I woke up this morning to find my iPhone dead. Which I thought surprising since I had it hooked up in my car to my Alpine headunit which charges it and then came home and had it docked for a good hour or so. I've had it docked for about 30 minutes, but everytime I take it out of the dock I get the "iPhone battery is Under 10%" message. It shows the charging symbol, but just isn't charging. Any ideas?

Does your Mac go into sleep mode?

I had this same problem, but it was based on my not understanding how sleep works. Sleep WILL drain your battery. You can sleep the monitor, but keep the computer up- you should be OK.

This is NOT because of 1.1.1.

I have the same issue. I was trolling around to see if anyone else had this issue as well, or if I was going crazy.

I have an unmodified iPhone bought like a month ago - almost default settings. Everything was working fine so far. Last night I upgraded from 1.0.2 to 1.1.1 thinking I would be ok since it is unmodified/unhacked. Looked like everything was ok, until I woke up this morning to find my iphone completely and utterly DEAD- no battery power, not in sleep mode anymore, completely off! I had at least 75-80% of my battery last night and I usually get ~4 days of standby time, so something is wrong.

Currently, I have it plugged in for like 30 minutes or so now and it is still looks like there is no power on the bar. This is definitely related to the 1.1.1 release.

Does anyone have any advice or help related to this issue?

Charge it a few more times to get the battery "read" back on track after updating. I did so and seem fine now.

As for the Alpine kit. I love mine but sometimes it will not charge the iPhone or any iPod I have put in it. Its sorta random, not sure why. I noticed it more so with my older iPods.
