i already searched for other threads and couldnt find any that helped me.

yesterday my iphone was charging/syncing fine, now when i plug it into my mac it wont charge/sync. i plugged my brothers iphone into the same cable in my mac and it worked perfectly. i already reinstalled the Apple Mobile Device Service and reinstalled itunes about 3 times but still nothing. what can i do?

p.s. i no longer have warranty

Does the same USB cable work and get the phone charging if you use it with the adapter power plug/socket? Might be something wrong with the cable. Have you tried just plugging it into another PC or Mac to see if it registers?

yeah cable works.. it is now in dfu mode but my computer wont read it still :(
