iphone wont go to voicemail

My iphone will not even let me click on the voicemail button, it will let me click contacts, favorites and everything else but it just wont go to voicemail. I do not know what the problem is I tried restoring 3 times and have not had any luck, I do not know what to do any help would be appreciated! Sometimes it will highlight the voicemail tab like its there but it will just show the content of the previous tab, like my contacts or something, really strange...

Ya dialing my number does go to my voicemail

Did you update the carrier settings in iTunes?

I had the same problem when i updated to 2.0.2, but it was solved after the last carrier update (wich was available in iTunes 2 day's after the new firmware came out).

Go to Settings -> Phone -> "PROVIDER NAME" Services (last option) and see if the number used for Voice Mail is the correct one, if it isn't i think you should contact you're carrier since i belive you cannot change those infos by your self...
