iPhone won't register In iphoto

I can'tet the photos off my phone to iphoto it doesn't even show up. Image capture is set to iphoto and I tried it with just image capture but it wouldn't show up as a camera. I also tried turning the sync photos on and off and that didnt help, rebooted phone and MacBook to no aviel.

You do understand that iTunes is the app designed to sync your iPhone with your computer, don't you?

iphoto syncs the pictures FROM the iphone to the computer.

You need to make sure that you have set up Syncing in the PHOTO tab in your iPhone config page in iTunes.
