Hey,

I've had this problem for a while now. I use iCloud for photo backup, and when I try to send a picture via iMessage or text, none of my photos will pop up to send. Or when I am able to select a photo to send to message, nothing comes up in the send bar.

I don't know if this is an issue with my iPhone or an issue with iCloud but I don't know what to do. How do to fix this?

Are any of these photos in your camera roll?

[doublepost=1464718043][/doublepost]My iPhone did this. I turned off iMessage and rebooted my phone and then turned iMessage back on. It worked for me

I just set my iphone to restore from a backup so hopefully this helps. I didn't turn off imessage before doing it though.

Did you just hard reboot or restore from backup?

I've taken all these pictures with my iPhone and they backup to icloud. I believe I have the setting set to optimized

You didn't answer my question. if you go to the photos app on your phone do you see photos in the Camera roll that you are trying to send?

reason why I'm asking is to see if the photo has to be in the camera roll in order for you to send it. I'm not sure if you can choose a photo from iCloud library and share it the same way

Yeah when I go into the camera toll, I see the photos I want. I click on them and then they don't show up when the messages app pops up. No idea why. This is both imessage and SMS

Camera roll isn't a thing any more with iCloud library
