I bought this iPhone preowned, so there is no warranty. It was working perfectly fine, then I took it out of the case and it was off, and wouldn't power on. I tried the wall charger and via USB, but still nothing. It wont reset or enter DUF mode. My PC wont recognize it. Is there anything I can do? I defintely cant afford another and I got a deal on this one. It is a 2g iPhone w/os 3.0 jailbroke&unlocked.... Please tell me something good, nothing is going right for me. Thank You

Where'd you buy it from, and what's the return policy for it?

First off, it's not called DUF mode, it's DFU mode. Secondly, are you absolutely sure you're doing the right thing to get it into DFU mode?

Follow those instructions EXACTLY.

Otherwise, I'd say that you probably just got completely ripped off on a bad deal because you had no idea what you were doing in regards to an iPhone, and ended up buying a dead one.

You could always get the iPhone replaced for $199 at the Apple Store, worst case scenario.

I dont know too much about them, but I did fix an ipod touch and know the basics... i think i screwed something up with the terminal cammand app..cause i dont know much about that... itunes just wont detect it and the batt. is dead..It does not reset or enter DFU mode...if i could get that far i would be good..this really sucks...
