iphone won't sync music

Just got my iphone.

Trying to sync my music, but I can't. It syncs apps, contacts, etc, but not music or video. Why? What can I do?

I had the same issue when I first got mine. Try creating a custom playlist (something like iPhone) and then simply drag and drop all the songs you want on your iPhone in there. Be sure under the music tab in iTunes you have selected to synch music and then be sure to select the custom playlist you created and you should be all set.

So then it'd all be on one playlist?

I have like 5 gigs of music... I don't want that all on one playlist. :/
