So I dropped my phone in the toilet earlier today. 🙁 Immediately dried it off and put it in a baggie of rice for a few hours (I know they say to keep it there for at least 24 hours). Then I took it out just to check the LCI to see if it was red. I checked inside both the SIM card slot and the headphone jack and neither looked red to me (I looked with a flashlight). So it seems like it survived the water okay, but it won't turn on. What do I do? Should I take it to the genius bar?

There's also internal moist sensors.
Bring it to Apple and hope for the best.
They can spot moisture and corrosion damage from liquid damage.

Realistically speaking you want to dry it out (in turned off state) for at least a few days before trying it out again. A few hours just won't do it usually.
