i turned off my phone last night and left it off to charge while i was sleeping. when i tried to turn it on in the morning it showed the apple logo but then shut off again. so then i tried to reset it, but the same thing happened. it showed the apple logo and shut off. i tried to charge it again but again would not go passed the apple logo. i tried to connect it to itunes but wouldnt connect because it wouldnt turn on. i tried holding down the home button while connecting but it still wouldnt connect.

iPhone wont turn on

First open iTunes and connect your USB cord to your computer, but do not plug it into your iPhone. Then press and hold the home button on your phone while connecting the USB cord into your iPhone, while continuing to hold down the home button. Then click restore in iTunes.
Backup, unless you just want to restore as a new phone. If you've synced everything to the appropriate software, a restore as new is okay, but you lose game saves, SMS messages, and you get some other inconveniences.
