Since ive updated to 3.0 i have been having some random issues, basic apps (mail, text, calendar) continually closing on me while im using them.
Now for some reason it wont even open the phone 'app' if you will. I click on the icon, it brings up the blank white screen, with the proper icons on the bottom, but it doesnt load any contacts/info. After about 5 seconds it just closes and shows my homescreen again.
I have restarted the phone, that didnt do anything.
Other apps are working.
Another interesting thing i just noticed. I am able to make calls by going to the address book, then selecting the number that way, HOWEVER instead of showing the usual screen that has the name and call time, it shows a blank black screen. Eventually it goes back to the home screen with the green title bar saying touch here to go back to call. But its a lie. I click the green bar and nothing happens, it just hides for a little bit then reappears. AND after the call is over it appears to not hang up right away. The green bar stays ontop, and i cant touch it then click the end call button, because, the end call button is hiding as well.
the iPhone does everything but work as a phone. silly device. i should go back to the cordless...
one last detail to make it even stranger. i havent done anything different to my phone recently. the last change i made was putting the passcode lock on. i have since turned it off again, hoping that had some obscure link to this problem. it didnt.
