I have bounced my iphone between two computer (MBP and imac - intels) and in the process, my imac which holds all my music has decided to take my most frequent music and claim that "it's not there with the annoying exlimation mark"
Do I have to "find" every file one at a time even though it's obvious the files are there?

mac os x 10.5.6
itunes 8.x
imac intel
music on an external USB

If YOU can find all of the files that you are missing, select all of the (!)'d files, delete them, and reimport the files by dragging them into the library. Then Consolidate the library to both cut out the old crap and back it up for future use.
