iPhone X iPhone X and audio books

I've been using my X recently to play audio books. I have found a new love
I have noticed that when I pause listening and return later in the day, it will not start playing from the last place I left off, rather it will play from a previous position.
Anyone else experiencing this?

I am using iBooks.
Never had any issues on my 7+ which is why I thought it may be an issue with the X?

Such issues are always generally software related.
