Hi,
I’ve recently purchased a car phone holder that supports wireless charging. I’ve noticed it charges a little slow, but the phone gets hot.
The charger itself says it supports up to 10W quick charging for Samsung’s etc.
For my testing I am using my new Romoss battery pack which shows the voltage and amperage. When the phone is on ‘quick’ charge through the car charger it is using 9.1v 0.8A. Which seems to be charging slow.
If I plug it into a basic 5w USB port, it seems to charge at 5w 1.4A, but when I plug the charger into a USB cigarette port in the car, it seems to default to the 9.1V 0.8A. Is this ok for charging? For example, I could pop the phone in the charger for over 10 minutes and it still wouldnt have gone up 1%.
It seems the phone is accepting charge, do you think my new car charger is at fault here? I'm not sure why it's 0.8A
Thanks
