Ever since I updated my iPhone X to iOS 12 I’ve noticed the battery Health has been updating aka decreasing significantly. Battery health is at 92% anyone else at similar levels or have noticed there iPhone degrade? Not sure to blame decrease in actual battery usage on iOS 12 or the battery health.

The battery health function in iOS 12 is no longer in beta. So in all likelihood, the problem is actual battery health in your phone.
I believe after each software update the device update the battery health. Hence, you will hardly see any changes to battery health without ever updating if you never update iOS. It may be because of your usage or charging behavior since battery health varies between each device based on its user. I had mines since launch and it is 98%. The key is to not stress the battery too much and keep charge between 20-80% and disable some location services for apps and system services that doesn't require location.
Arent they still doing the battery replacement program? $29 for out of warranty and $0 for in warranty?
The battery on the iPhone X is not that good. In my case my 7 Plus battery is at 90% after 2 years while my X battery is at 94% after just 1 year. I use the standard charger with it. No fast charging.
I don't know how much I believe the battery health indicator. my 7+ which is almost 2 years old is showing 91% battery health.
That's incorrect. It is for all iPhones that are at least as recent as the iPhone 6 (including SE because it is more recent than the 6). 5s and older models aren't covered.
I agree. My 21 monnth old 7 Plus is still showing at 100% health. Mind you, as I have said in previous posts, I charge at 20/30% and take off chage 90/95%. Very rare do I charge to 100%.

Use Coconut Battery or iMazing to check exact health.
Also, how many cycles do you have?
I’ve had mine since launch day and I’m at 91%. I’m considering getting my battery replaced before December 31st, since I’m not upgrading this year.

For example, sitting in a cradle in your car in the sun doing navigation was you drive can make the phone get quite hot. Same deal if you're at the beach and leave the phone out in the sun. Heat degrades batteries very quickly.
I know of a couple launch day iPhone 6 units that are still at 85% and even 90%. They've been kept out of extreme heat their entire lives. My iPhone 7 Plus is also doing great at 90% after nearly two years; same deal. The only iPhone I've ever had whose battery seemed to weaken early was an iPhone 5, and I had it back when I was going to the beach more and it would cook in the sun. Bad past me, no time travel biscuits for you.

Apperanlty you can no longer get an express replacement for batteries? Even though I have diagnostic test to show the health degraded 3 percent within a week between the tests. According to the rep it’s now a low cost service not a warranty replacement, because the battery needs to be at 80 percent or under. I guess I’ll just wait a month for it to hit that percentage versus driving two hours.
