It appears that my iPhone X is having trouble recognizing a swipe down from right side of the notch.
I've noticed that I need to swipe from the very corner of that "dip" to trigger it.

In other words, I cannot trigger Control Center by swiping down from the middle of that right side of the notch area. I have to touch the corners (either side -- notch side or far right corner) and swipe down.

Does anyone have this issue? This didn't happen before 11.2.2.

It sounds like a problem with your screen. I can trigger control center by running my finger along the very right edge of the screen. If the inside edge of the notch is the only way to trigger control center then I would suspect the problem is hardware.
