iPhone X iPhone X dims himself while playing Bully...

I have this very annoying issue while playing Bully: Anniversary Edition, the screen dims himself after only 10 minutes of playtime. The reason being, cos the phone gets hot, therefor it has to protect itself by dimming the screen, but come on, I can only get 10 minutes of real gameplay out of it.

Is it just my phone, or do any of you have experienced the same/similar issue?

It is possible that the game has not been optimized for the new iPhone. I would contact the developer and let him or her know what has happened with your phone.

Thanks for your quick reply. Maybe, I don't have the same issue with any other game.

I have just contacted Rockstar about it, see how it goes...

Apple may also have put in a safeguard for the OLED display. This happens to my X if my brightness is on 100% out in direct sunlight after awhile.
