iPhone X Iphone X display goes black for a short time

Hi,

I have an issue with brand new Iphone X. When I tap to wake, everything is fine, face recognition is fast, but after a minute or so, in the middle of usage, display goes black and it doesn't react on tap to wake. Display comes back only if I press side button couple of times. Have anybody faced the same problem? Is it a software bug? Thank you for response in advance.

Have you updated to the latest iOS?

Also, sometimes, just a reboot will fix crazy things.

I have updated iOS to the latest version. Will try reboot, but it seems it comes back unexpectedly, I thought maybe i did something wrong in set up?
