So I dropped my iPhone X not from a high distance and everything is fine...But I kinda worry because I know inside the phone there are some ribbon cables. These ribon cables can disconnect so easily from something like a mechanical shock? They are strong? Should I be worried? My phone has no problem, I'm just curious if this ribbon cables are weak or not?

Have you ever had a problem with these cables?

Drops can cause micro fractures in hard components, like glass, silicon chips, camera sensors, etc... Over time they can build up and maybe the next time it's dropped there's a higher likelihood of something actually breaking. Sure, it could possibly loosen ribbon cables too, but those are flexible so they are actually more resilient to drops.

Just be careful with the phone and don't drop it, or get a case that has some impact resistance. There's nothing else you can really do about it.

Do you have insurance? I wouldn't worry unless you experienced issues immediately. Phones are made to be able to handle a lot. Look how many people crack their screen and the phone still works. If it's good now, nothing will just break in the future from this one instance.

You can see a tear down of the iPhone X here:

The connectors look more robust than I expected. There isn’t a lot of room for things to come loose, so there’s that. :)

I wouldn’t worry about it. People have been dropping smartphones of all makes and models for years without causing any short term or long term problems as long as nothing cracks or shatters. I’m sure there are some examples of internal damage causing issues, but I think those are few and far between compared to beaten up phones I’ve seen that still work. I hire college students, and I’ve seen a lot of perfectly working smartphones with cracked displays. I know the feeling of worry though. I own some expensive camera gear and when a $1,000 lens that contains more than a dozen precisely aligned lens elements takes a hit, it’s a wonder when nothing gets knocked out of alignment.

You answered your own question in the very first sentence.
