Hey guys,
I’ve seen a few people complain on here about how Apple should have an implemented a “try again” button for those times that Face ID doesn’t get it right the first time. I, like many others would then click on a notification, re-lock the phone or use the PIN. However, Apple did implement a “try again” button, it just isn’t very apparent. If Face ID fails on the first try, simply swipe down on the home bar and it will re-Initialize Face ID. Maybe this is known, but as much as people complain about it here, I figured I’d share it again if so.
TL;DR - If Face ID fails on the lock screen, swipe down on the home bar to retry.
