Hard reset the device. What iOS did you update to?

The battery problems is gone! BUT now it's stuck in bootloop. I updated to the latest ios, and thats when all the problems begun.

Somehow sometimes the phone startes after a reset. And when I start it, it works fine until like 30 mins in. Then no sound works, and the microphones stops working. It's so strange that it works a while before it stops again. WHAT is going on??

Restore it using iTunes.. If it works normally, restore it with your backup. If the problem comes back, the software on your phone is corrupt in some way and your backup is corrupted too. You’ll need to do a clean install of iOS then delete your backup and make a new one.

Yes. I have tried that. Twice. I have restored it to factory settings and the problem still occurs.

The microphone works with siri, and calling. For like 30 min. Then it stops. The speaker dosent work at all. I can record videos but I cant play them. All this happened after I updated to ios 13.2.3

Do you think that the heat when the phone got really really hot could have damaged something in the hardware?

I guess it’s possible. How old is the phone and have you owned it since new? You can always try to downgrade to iOS 13.2.2 and see if it fixes it. It’s still being signed:

It's 15 months old and I have owned it all that time.

Update:

With headphones (bluetooth) I can play videos and audio works fine. Im trying to narrow down the source to this..I'm grateful with help and suggestions

Can you fault the charger or cable? Faulty accessory?;u doubt it was the update ourself. Underlying issue?

Wish there was battery stats as to Amps and status. Should never get above 35°C and hot can be 42°.

Store diagnostic tests would help narrow down I use USBC to lightning and Samsung wireless pad for my X for nearly two years.

Even dropping a phone could affect battery contacts I imagine

I only use the original Apple charger.

So changing the battery could help if the contacts there are messed up?
