Okay so I got my iPhone X mid December, and it was working fine until this morning when I set it down on my desk, but when I picked it up a few minutes later 75% of the screen was covered by bright green. All it does is flicker in bright green. I can't turn it off or unlock the phone. I am still getting all of my notifications, but I can't read them, I can turn on the flashlight with force touch though. I know I paid for a phone but I mean $1300 is a reasonable price for a flashlight right? I was on the phone with apple for hours until they finally determined that all there was to do was go to the apple store. I have never once dropped this phone, and I am very disappointed in it as well.

Why is one of the tags under the thread title labeled "Stupid." If it's hardware related, no one here can help you, which it likely is. That's what warrantees are for.

I guess I’m just old. If my iPhone was to go faulty, my first move would be to contact Apple/take it to the Apple store and have the issue resolved. Not seek out and find an Internet forum to register to to tell strangers my problems.

Well, yeah, but you're not Entitled! Come on, how *dare* a device of any ilk have a component failure when it's owned by *him*!
