Having set up my iPhone X last night, I'm noticing that I'm not getting most of my notifications. I'm getting them for texts and emails, but not for Slack, Twitter, News apps, and other apps.

I can tell I'm missing them, because my old iPhone 7 is still getting them.

I have opened each app and checked the notifications as well as going to the Notifications area in settings to make sure everything is on and set up properly.

Last thing about this is that when I drag down the Notifications view from the left of the notch, it won't show me any history of notifications. My iPhone 7 showed me current notifications as well as "Earlier Today", "Yesterday", etc.

What's up with this???

Are you not getting them at all, or are they just vanishing?

In my case, I would get a notification, but as soon as am unlocked with Face ID, they would vanish completely never to be seen again.

I did a chat session with Apple. They had me reset all settings and that seemed to do the trick.
