I was set on the XS Max, now I'm 75% sure I'm going to stick with my X. And this coming from a guy who has purchased each new iPhone on launch since the 3gs. I am more interested in the new watch. I just can't stomach spending $2000 on a watch and phone when it would only be marginally better than my X.

Just want to see what all X owners are doing.

For the poll, I know the XR might not be an upgrade from the X but curious who's getting what.

No way, especially with the UK prices compared to the US. How does $999 convert to £999? Not worth it for such a small upgrade in my opinion but each to their own

So far, no. I've really enjoyed my X and it is still as good as ever. The only new model I would consider is the Max, but I am torn if I want to go back to phablet sized. Been enjoying the smallishness of my X, but at times long for just a bit more screen-estate.

No upgrade for me, I don't see the XS as a worthwhile move from the X as it offers very little to justify the renewed cost on my IUP. I'll pay the remaining 10 payments and then have 2 month's payment free next summer before deciding on upgrading to next years model or not. Also means I'll have my X to sell next year rather than simply handing it to Apple.

Absolutely! The only thing I have missed about the Note 8 I had briefly before the X was the screen size and now I can have an iPhone with an even bigger screen!

Honestly still on the fence. I downloaded the new iOS update and it feels faster and I like the new features. I think that’ll hold me over.

Can someone tell me what you would actually get by upgrading? They always mix new hardware features with software update features so it’s hard to say what the XS would actually provide vs the X

Thank you in advance!

Maybe.

Still deciding.

I'm attracted to the idea of a bigger screen on an iPhone that's no bigger than the 7 Plus and 8 Plus.

For T-Mobile users, it's also attractive to have gigabit LTE and Band 71, too.

The only significant upgrade in my opinion is someone who likes the edge to edge screen of the X but wants the larger size screen of the XS Max. The rest is pretty incremental.

I'm in the iPhone Upgrade Program, so I've accepted the reality of being in a permanent lease with Apple =P Staying with the form factor of the X, so going to the XS. I didn't like the physical size of the 6/7+, so returning to the large form isn't appealing to me.

I really do love the X, and I was anticipating upgrading to the Xs this year. Ultimately that price tag doesnt justify the upgrade for me... Really it would just be the gold option, better camera features, and a non-cracked back that I would be taking advantage of. Ill wait and see what the XI brings next year (unless some other cracking starts to happen on my X)...

I was really looking forward to the Max model. But after seeing the prices, I may have to sit this out. I owe 420 on my X 256, and I’m sure the down payment would be 520 or so. If I sold my X, it probably wouldn’t be as painful to upgrade, but that still a large chuck of change out of pocket
