Have anyone experienced this? I had a whatsapp phone call yesterday and my friend sent my pictures during the call, when I tired to open up the screen to get to the chat the screen was unresponsive and all black. The same thing happened today when I called someone although NOT via whatsapp, I used the phones regular phone call. And same **** happened! The screen went all black and I could not get into the phone during the call. Or em I doing something wrong here?

I have started the phone calls manually and not via Siri.

Enter iTunes restore and restore and setup as new iPhone. If it keeps happening it's probably hardware. Get it swapped by Apple. I had similar issues with one of mine.. (all 4 have had different issues for me )

Have you found a fix yet? I'm getting the same problem, on phone or not. Even unlocking phone via passcode.
