Hi

My daughters Iphone X has an odd issue. The screen works normally when she is holding the phone. However, when she lies it on a table or props is up, say to do a video, the screen becomes extremely unresponsive. Has anybody seen this issue before or got any ideas what might be causing it?

When was this phone purchased? New or used? The device might have a hardware issue and may benefit from having Apple look at it.

Take it to Apple and have them check the display. Some iPhone X have had issues with the display driver which can cause an unresponsive screen.
