Hi guys.

I noticed I have a problem with my iPhone X a couple of weeks ago.

When I’m scrolling in the facebook app and I want to stop to read something, sometimes the touchscreen doesn’t respond. Like I’m scrolling and when I touch the screen so the scrolling stops, sometimes it doesn’t do anything and I have to push again so it stops.

I’ve seen the iphone x touchscreen module replacement program on their website, went to apple store and they replaced the touch screen module and the speakers for free.

Everything was working fine and after a couple of days the problem was back.
The strange this is it happens only in the facebook app and just once on instagram. I can scroll for hours in chrome or other app and everything is fine.

Could this be a software problem?

I uninstalled and reinstalled the facebook app but it didn’t work.
I didn’t try a phone erase and reset and a restore but I don’t know if it would work.

What can I do?

Thanks a lot and sorry for the long post.

I don’t use Instagram much so I haven’t had the issue there, but it happens to me while using Facebook. It’s been happening off & on for about a month or so now. I think it has to do with the app and not the phone. Using an XS by the way.
