Iphone X - Shutter sound when taking photo is gone

Since switching to Sprint (big mistake) my new iPhone XR does not have a sound when I take a photo just from phone and from shutter remote. I need to hear the shutter because I take photos from a long pole.

I also no longer have the shutter sound on my iPhone 6plus and not sure what happened or why?

Did you turn the silent switch on the side of the phone? If the phone is on silent, your camera app will also stay silent.

I would pay lots and lots to get rid of that sound forever.

I can't even guess how many phone calls I've missed because I flipped the silent switch to take a photo.

If you've got a sound in portrait mode - then it's a bug.
