iPhone 8/Plus iPhone X to 8+ Question

So I just switched from the X to an 8+ to save $ since I got the 8+ as a gift. Since FaceID can be used to log into various websites, would the information transfer over and TouchID can pick up from there?

Yes, anything saved in your iCloud keychain will work via Face ID or Touch ID.
