Loving the new XR, but aside from the larger screen compared to the X, is there any point to upgrade? What does the XR have that the X doesn't?

Bigger screen, thinner, cheaper, more colors. Probably lighter too. Worth a change IMO, despite downgrading from OLED.

It has the same wide angle camera as the Xs. You do lose the telephoto camera if you go from the X to the Xr.

Also dual-sim is something I forgot about, but guess that's not useful to everyone.

After seeing the pricing of the xs and sxm, I'm questioning whether it's even worth it upgrading from the 8+ to the xr.

Dual sim is a big thing for me (I left my work phone at the cabin and I'm on week 2 without it since I haven't had time to go back).. but ... Is it worth it? I'm on the fence.

As far as I could tell it's basically got all the same as the Xs but a different screen and only one lens?

This was my thinking, but the significantly lower price had me wondering if there was a catch...

Guys there is still lot of confusion.

The question is simple. There are people like me that don’t care if it’s oled or lcd.

Is the camera of Xr better than X?

Also it lacks on speakers compared to Xs?

What about screen 120hz?

Im not so sure LCD is a downgrade. With the flickering of OLED and lower lifespan, I personally prefer LCD.

Good point. And I agree. I just know that to many uninformed folks it would be a so-called downgrade. But I generally think that proven and perfected tech like the LCD is here to stay for a while longer. While OLED's are definitely gaining popularity in the smartphone market, it will be a while before they are perfected as well as LCD's have been.
