After 10-15 minutes of use I notice the phone can start to feel a bit warm not hot. Just a bit warm, have to take the case off to feel it.

Is this normal? Anyone else have this?

Can anyone try facebook or other apps for 15 minutes and see if there phone gets warm under the camera?

I don't own an iPhone X but I have been seeing a lot of questions and complaints, on this and other forums, about the iPhone X getting hot, at least hotter than what iPhone users are used to.

If it isn't "too hot to touch" and if you're not getting any error messages, I will say that this appears to be normal. The logic board design on the iPhone X is different, opting for a dual-layer, sandwich like design that concentrates the heat signature to a smaller area of the housing.

Rest assured, the iPhone contain several thermistors designed to measure and monitor the heat of the logic board and if anything goes out of spec, you will see an error message.

Your device is fine, if youre not getting any temperature warnings it would be expected product behaviour. Its different for everyone. Some devices get warmer than others and also some people have a different perception of heat than others. You have to remember you have a powerful computing device of a size that fits into your hands. It is expected to get warm from time to time as the processor draws power from the battery to do what ever current or background task it needs to perform. I would be worried if the device was constantly running warm, hot to touch and the temperature warnings constantly appeared.

It also depends on what page your browsing. For example, if you are streaming, it'll naturally draw more power from the battery hence, more warmth. As what the previous responses mentioned, if you are not getting any warning from the device or if it's not "too hot to touch" then you're good.

What should be alarming is if the device is on idle and it gets hot.
