So if I got the anker Qi wireless charging dock would that hurt my iPhone X’s bateery or not? Read so so so many controversial articals, ideas, views. Anyone can share and say opinions if wirelessly charging his/her i[hone x/8? Thanks

I haven’t noticed any change in capacity on my iPhone X battery using wireless charging. I don’t see why it would be any different than charging with a cable, your battery doesn’t know the difference

How long are you going to keep the phone for?

The beat way to charge is via the slowest possible means, keeping battery between 20-90%. Anything else hurts it a little.

Charging via cable at high power results in warmer battery. So does wireless. The result is a marginally shorter battery life.

If you keep your phone for three years or less, you don’t need to worry about this. If you are using your phone 4-5 years later, you will have a slightly worse battery than otherwise.

My launch day X has only been wirelessly charged since I got it and its battery health is on 99%.
