Will the next iPhone (this September) support Apple Pencil input?
 
No and that’s dumb. The s pen works with the Note 8 because you have a place to store it . Consider Apple is going thinner they aren’t about to make the phone thicker to support a stylus.
 
Maybe not this September, but eventually. As iPhone matures, adding Pencil support is natural.

What is a computer? Right now, Apple defines a "computer" as an iPad with a Pencil. Sooner or later, iPhone will take that place as a "computer."

For this September, I would expect side by side multitasking support on the Plus.

As in 2018, not happening. Is it possible for other Apple Pencil implementation for future iPhones? Yes. I don’t believe Apple envisions cross referencing the Apple Pencil from the iPad to the iPhone at this point. Perhaps maybe they can integrate a smaller Apple Pencil that would make it more transitional and easier to use a while holding the iPhone one handed while using Apple Pencil for taking notes, editing photos, etc.
