iPhone X iPhone Xr, no SIM-Free option

Looking on Apple’s website they don’t have a SIM-free option when you configure a phone, was it mentioned if it will be an option?

I am wanting to upgrade my 6s Plus and like the size of the Xr and it has most of what I need and. Reasonable price compared to the Xs and Xs Max

I believe Sim-Free model for the XR will be available after 1 month of it's initial launch. iPhone X from last year was like this too.
