I can’t seem to get portrait mode working properly, to be fair it’s not something I tend to use but my kids love playing around with it taking selfies, however, this implementation doesn’t seem to work very well currently.

When ever we take a photo, our hair always seems to be very blurry, it’s not correctly distinguishing the foreground from the background. It tends to think our faces and a little bit above the hairline is the foreground and the rest of our hair is the background.

Is anyone else with an XR experiencing this? I know this is apples first attempt at a software focal length simulation and im sure it will improve with updates in the future, or maybe I just have a dodgy camera, I don’t know?

I’d be interested to hear what the X and XS users are experiencing with their dual camera solutions, is yours working well at this stage after a year of updates and fine tuning? I know this isn’t a fair comparison as you have a second camera to help with depth calculations but be interesting to hear how it’s evolved.
