Hi, just wondered if any one can help me, I have just upgraded to the iphone XR, Very happy with phone but I am a bit hard of hearing so I usually have the ring volume on full, but when the phone rings it is at the volume I want it to be at then after ringing for about 5 seconds it goes really quiet to the point I think it has stopped ringing, if I use side volume buttons to try and turn it up it actually goes off.
I cant find any setting to stop this from happening so just wondered if anyone can point me in the right direction, am I missing something etc, Thanks, Terry

Update to this, I have noticed the only ringtones that have low volume are the ones which were downloaded from itunes, all the ones that come with the phone seem to play ok, but yet my sons phone doesnt do it with downloaded tones and he also has the XR.

Go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode and make sure Attention Aware Features is turned off. When it’s on, the TruthDepth camera, will lower the volume when you are looking at the screen while the phone is ringing.
