Iphone xs fell, screen not broken but vertical lines appear

Hi.
My gf xs fell and green vertical lines appeared on the right side of it.
The screen is not broken.
Is there a fix I can try before replacing it?

I think its worth $120 to have someone do it unless you are skilled, have practice, a sterile work ares and are good repairing things with tiny screws. Im not sure about the fixit kit but replacement screens are not the same quality. Apple has some kind of machine that perfectly puts the screen on. Well that's what I was told.

Apple has a special machine to put on screen protectors not display's.. Plus $120 for screen and labor sounds like they're replacing the OLED screen for an inferior/much cheaper LCD screen (LCD display's are available for the X/XS as a cheaper alternative)..
