iPhone XS live wallpaper question

Hi,

Bit of a frivolous question. Just got an iPhone XS Max and like the new wallpapers, if I set the new bubble images, obviously still is ok, perspective works as it should with the parallax, but Live Photo doesn’t move ( set as home page). When I select it in settings - wallpaper, I can get it to move by pressing the screen, but when it’s set as the home screen it’s not animated. Should it be? If not it’s a bit pointless.

Nope. Pressing it is as good as it gets.

But just pressing to test when in settings or should it move when I press the actual homepage wallpaper?

Live wallpapers only work on the lock screen. Should have mentioned that in my last post. Sorry about that.
