IPhone XS Max Face ID not working

Anyone had the same problem? There was no physical damage on the phone. Face ID just stopped working. I tried to reset the Face ID, but I can’t do that either. It says “Face ID is not available”. I also reset the phone. I don’t understand what could be wrong. I think there is something wrong with the True Depth camera. Is it possible for it to stop working all of a sudden? Anyone have any suggestions?

Restore the phone using iTunes and don’t use your backup. If it works, restore using your backup and see if the problem returns. If it does, something is corrupt in the software.
