Other iPhone XS max needs updated apps like plus phones?

Just wondered will the new 6.5" max needs apps to update or they will look smaller, remember when apps on the plus had to update or will they just work now

maybe cos they work on plus size phones and now they make them tall for plus it might just work only time will tell

I would think yes because the Max has a different resolution.

its annoying apps take ages to make for new screen sizes even now I have apps still not made for the x
