Hi,

I tried the XS camera at night for the first time tonight on holiday in Greece and noticed some weird light issue (not sure of the technical term if anyone can help?)

Is this an issue with the camera? I’ve never had this issue on any other iPhone cameras.

The upside down cross was a little freaky!!

I noticed the same thing when I took a picture inside towards a ceiling light. Did you ever figure out why it does this?

No - no one else has replied.

Guess I’ll book in with a Genius when I get back from holiday. It’s so annoying as can’t take photo’s at night now without the stupid light reflection.

It looks like lens flare to me though in the second image I’m not sure which artifact that you’re speaking of.

This is possible with any lens under the right conditions, and that’s shooting into the light especially when discrete light sources are in the image.

Cheers, Azy
