Other iPhone XS vertical app issues

So I just switched from the iPhone X to the XS. All my apps downloaded and I started playing some of my usual games. I noticed that the notch was all of a sudden in the way and cutting off parts of the display on top. I just played the same exact games earlier today without any issue on the X. Really weird... Anyone see any issues? A couple of the games I noticed it on were JW Alive and Eden Obscura. It seems like as I’m checking most vertical games I see the same issue. I tried resetting, deleting and downloading the apps again. Same issue, the top of the game where the notch is is cut off. It’s like it hasn’t been optimized but I know it has been because I play these games everyday on the X

Bike unchained 2 is another one doing the same thing. Does anyone have these apps and can verify they see the same issue? I don’t want to restore my phone unless absolutely necessary.

So I guess no one is having any issues with apps not being formatted correctly?

I would have assumed having the same exact screen as the x that things would have moved over smoothly with no formatting issues. Have you seen issues with apps not being formatted correctly personally?

The Tapatalk app. On the X it works fine. On the Max the when you are responding to a thread the keyboard ends up covering up the options to attach a file.

This is what it looks like on the jw alive app on my iPhone xs. On the iPhone X everything is formatted correctly. I could see issues maybe going to the max but the screens from x to xs are exactly the same.

Yup same OS. I was just playing it yesterday on my x everything looked perfect. Got my xs set up and restored from backup and that is what happened.

Yup i have the same problem with Tapatalk... Apps will need to be updated for the new devices, just like the old times when we had to wait for the devs to fix their apps for the the 6 Plus
