Not sure if this is the right place for this post, but wondering if someone can give me some new steps to try.

I'm trying to do a backup to iTunes for my iPhone. iPhone is running 14.2 and my iTunes is 12.8 (I have High Sierra).

Last night, when I connected, my Photos came up, I hit the Trust, etc...but then iTunes never showed my device. So since then, I've done all the usual fixes:

Restarted MBP/Phone..Reset PRAM..Even after these, when I plug in my iPhone it won't detect in iTunes, nothing appears...So I reset the Locations/Privacy Settings on my iPhone..

When I do the latter, it will start to work in iTunes, asking me if it can access my Phone, I say Yes...I choose Trust on my phone, enter my password etc...but then nothing happens...

Edit to Add - and I've tried different USB cables.

Suggestions?

You might try and reinstall iTunes on your computer and see if that fixes it. I'm on High Sierra too and when I first updated to iOS 14 it asked me to install an iTunes supplement so it could connect to my device. After I installed that everything worked as normal

It seems like it worked! Thanks! I didn't try that as I thought the download on Apple was an older version than what I had...
