it's not impossible, it just depends on the bluetooth system in your car. in my bmw, my iphone uploads the phonebook so that i can scroll through names on my stereo's display and dial using the controls on my steering wheel. i don't have to do anything to prompt this - it's automatic since my iphone is paired with my car.

what kind of car bluetooth system do you have?

That's what I had thought initially, too. Fortunately, all of my contacts in the iPhone sync up with my Garmin nuvi...I was certainly surprised and pleased!

like macuser1 said, it has the handsfree profile that allows this. it also does the same with my tomtom 720 gps unit. quite handy.

Hi, I have the same stereo and when connect the iphone (fw 1.0.2) I can listen the music but the display doesn't show the songs name nor can navigate (only next or previous song). It only says "ERROR A0". Do you have any trouble? which firmware do you have?
regards

Man i have the Same Reciver... and have tryed with Many Different FirmWare's and so far with the F.W. 1.1.1 and i can sometimes get the list and Music info on the reciver to show but other times it will show the same "ERROR-A0" on the display...
