Is it true that photos taken with an iPhone include the exact position of where it was taken in the EXIF data?

This means if people put their pics online which they took at home, anybody can find out where they live? This is perfect for stalking and harassment. Apple needs to get rid of that function immediately.

Apple doesn't have to do anything, it's a standard and up to the user.

Don't allow Camera to know your location. It isn't Apple that said "yes" for you.

Yeah, hence why the first time you open the camera it won't let you use it until you tell it whether to tag your photos with location data.

seriously if someone is that concerned about privacy and/or stalking then posting pictures online is a no no.

Google has an app called goggles that can determine a location based on a picture so it really doesn't matter what exif data is there.
