Hi

I have a really weird problem here.

My extra iPhone 4s i'm using for playing music, Spotify etc. etc (Streaming)
is working alright.
But if i plug in a audio cable in the headphone plug, the wifi stops working ???
This is really weird and i have tried 2 iPhones now and it's the same problem.
How can that happen. I hope you understand what i mean.
The iPhone is connected to my home WIFI and working fine. As soon as i plug in the audio cable for my speakers. The iPhone looses it's wifi connection.
I have never experience anything like this before and i'm sure my iPhone is fine because it happen on 2 different iPhones.

Please if anyone have a solution.

P.S It is NOT headphones. Its when i plug a audio cable from my speakers !!!

Thanks

Try another pair of headphones. From what I have gathered it's something with your headphones.

Try another device...like another set of speakers or a pair of headphones. See if it still causes the issue.

If another speaker or headphones doesn't cause the phone to disconnect wifi then we know it is the speakers. If with another device the iPhone still disconnects then we know it is something with the iPhone, probably hardware wise. But I am willing to bet that it is your speaker since it happens to multiple iPhones.

What's the make model of the amp / stereo you're plugging it into?

Hi. Its the Logitech Z4 2:1 speaker and they sound great with everything else.
Its just the FIWI connection that drops completely when the audio cable is plugged in to the iPhone. Then WIFI signal dies….., So weird.
Now i bought a bluetooth adaptor and that works fine. As long as no audio cable is plugged in to the iPhone. Then WIFI and everything else works ??

You left us hanging here...did you actually try the iPhone with a completely different audio cable?

Yes i did try 3 cables. Same thing. The only thing that helped was a bluetooth adaptor so i didn't had to plug in the audio cable into the jack/headphone on the iPhone.
Not sure why all this happen. But some kind of interference when the cable was both plugged in to the iPhone and the Logitech speakers ??? very strange-
